An early walk in central London

Last Friday I decided to finally go back to my origins but with a nice twist. I woke at 5.30am, had a quick breakfast. An Italian one of course with an espresso and an amazing croissant. Got a train at 6.28am and at 7.00 sharp I arrived at London Bridge. Weather wasn’t the best to be honest but I managed a couple of hours of walking from there to Victoria Station. My plan was to get the unusual on an early day. Well didn’t go as aspected but I luckily managed some nice shoots.

London is really beautiful at any time but in the early day the city is empty and all the pub are closed. There isn’t life apart from workers, cleaners, runners and old people sitting on a bench with a fresh copy of their favourite newspaper looking like internet didn’t attached to them.

My journey move on to Covent Garden where the Market was starting to get alive. The stalls were still empty but slowly all the goods were arriving and people slowly started to approaching. Someone holding a coffee, some couple visiting the place probably for the first time.

My stomach at some point started to ask for a second breakfast and then I decided to stop at Cafe Nero an while I was there enjoying an amazing Sicilian Lemon Cheesecake I realised the man in front of me was sleeping and I literally took some shoots. Funny things on a early day in center London.

My walk ended in Victoria after a final long walk through St. James Park, Westminster and finally sit on the train on my way to home. I did enjoy the early morning I’m planning to do often and try to get more of the unusual, funny and strange things that can happen in this interesting city that London is.
